The stainless steel molds are a lot more expensive, anywhere from $5-$20 more per each individual mold. I'm not so sure if they are worth the price difference. If you make a lot of fizzy bath bombs, the higher cost would justify investing in the stainless steel they will last a long time.
The stainless steel molds produces a much smoother surface.
This bath fizzy has oats in it and is fairly smooth. When using a plastic mold, the oats fizzy is not as smooth.
