I Love to Cook...that is body care products

My favorite stores are kitchen stores, especially Sur la table. I can spend an incredible amount of time awing the kitchen gadgets and cookware. I dream of an industrial kitchen with the finest cookware. Of course this dream kitchen would not be for cooking food but for making body care products.

I finally realized no matter how much I try, I don't like to cook. But...I can spend 12 hours cooking body care products and I feel exhilarated. My husband comes into the kitchen with great hopes that the wonderful smell is something edible. My body care products are edible but not what he is looking to eat. As I approach 50 I have come to the realization I no longer need to fit into a role that women should cook. It took me long enough, but these ingrained roles are hard to shake off.
